The fishing remains great on Rodman Reservoir with lots of fun trips in the last couple of days! Trips are still producing 25-40 bass per day depending on length of trip with some great fish coming over the side of the boat.
Longtime customer Vaun Cummins and a couple of friends made it out for a short morning trip and boated a pair of 8-1/2lbers! Along with a few other trophy bass by some customers the big bass are really starting to add up! I love, love, love this time of year! These trophy bass bring the total to a whopping 179 trophy bass (bass over 8lbs) boated already this season!!!! Let's keep rolling! Rodman Reservoir Fishing Report First time customer and former starting University of Alabama linebacker Jeff Rouzie and friend Dave got in on the action boating a pair of 8lbers and a 9lber. Customer Randy Marsh got his first double digit bass after over 4 decades of trying and she came in at 10lbs 8oz! Lucky Mikey G got back in the double digit column with another bass that tipped the scales at 10lbs even. Short morning trips are producing 25-35 bass per trip and we have got a lot of nice bass and some double digit bass recently. Lots of fun fishing trips and some great fish! I love this time of year as most of you know, when the boat trafiic starts to quiet down and the fishing starts to ramp back up.

Even though these are short trips, they are not short on action, bass and big bass! Trips are producing 30-40 bass per day with lots of fish in the 8 - 10lb plus range! This is truly a time of year I look forward to! We are still also on a possible record pace with 186 Trophy Bass caught so far this season! Some really great Summer fishing!! Man has there been some great fishing lately! The normal fun Summer fishing is in full swing! The key this time of year is to get in and get out early as the warm temps this time of year can really kick in once you get past about noon. All large fish are weighed on a Boga Grip. We will not exaggerate fish totals or weights to gain your business.
